Attendance Policy

Excused Absence

• Message your choreographer before rehearsal

• Excused absences will not count against you

• Make sure to watch the video from rehearsal and try to catch up

Unexcused Absence

• Each dancer has 1 free, no questions asked, unexcused absence

  • Message your choreographer to let them know you are using an unexcused absence

• After using your 1 free absence, you have two options after further unexcused absences

1. You may still attend rehearsals, but you will not perform in the showcase

2. You can learn the choreography you missed, film a video of yourself performing it, and send it to your choreographer for approval. Your choreographer may then decide to keep you in the performance or not.

Excused Absences Include:

• Positive Covid-19 test (10 days before return to rehearsal)

• Covid-19 close contact (test before returning to rehearsal)

• Other illness/injury

• Family emergency (illness, injury, death, etc)

• Exam
