In addition to our academic work, our faculty work with others in the Division of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine to support expectant parents in multiple care settings who are anticipating preterm birth, or have pregnancies complicated by congenital anomalies or other obsetric problems. We offer 24/7/365 inpatient consultation, and outpatient consultation in the Fetal Diagnosis and Treamtent Center Monday-Friday.
We collaborate with our colleagues in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Palliative Care, and many others including Urology, Otolaryngology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Genetics, and Nephrology to provide compassionate and coordinated care. We also strive to provide a robust and supportive clinical training environemnt for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellows in developing skills in prenatal counseling and patient care coordination.
Our Prenatal Consult Program is directed by Marin Arnolds and Paris Ekeke and supported by Jean Rockey, NNP, and Val Burns.
