The Munger Graduate and Professional Student Case Competition challenges transdisciplinary teams of three to five graduate and professional students to address important topics each year during the Fall and Winter terms. Over 275 graduate and professional students representing 15 University of Michigan schools and colleges have participated in the Case Competitions since Munger Graduate Residences opened its doors in 2015. The Case Competition not only asks teams to consider issues such as sustainability, poverty, and fake news; it allows students to learn outside their classes and labs, collaborate with those outside of their academic cohorts, and build the skills necessary to be successful in a world that requires innovation, teamwork, and diversity of thought.
