We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the new Michigan Program on Value Enhancement (MPrOVE) Learner Program! As a translational research unit, MPrOVE brings together Michigan Medicine clinicians and IHPI researchers to solve clinical problems and disseminate findings through both academic products and the spread of interventions.
This new program is designed to connect students and trainees across stages and disciplines who are interested in improving healthcare, value, and "right-sizing" care. Through monthly workshops and drop-in problem-solving sessions led by MPrOVE faculty and staff during the 2025-2026 academic year (September – April), learners will gain an understanding of approaches for improving value in healthcare and build practical skills in research, improvement science, and evaluation.
Participants will engage with MPrOVE faculty and staff and have opportunities to contribute to MPrOVE projects and academic products.

It is estimated that participants will need to commit 5-10 hours per month to the program.
The pilot cohort will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
