The SENSE Network is an NIH-funded international network supporting research on the role of sensory functioning – vision, hearing, olfaction, touch, taste, and balance – on health and aging.
The SENSE Network has three cores:
Data Collection, Harmonization, and Integration
Research Development and Mentorship
Dissemination and Translation
This core organizes all activities related to the development of novel data and data collection resources. It serves as a hub for trainees and junior investigators to gain experience in primary sensory data collection, including protocol development, and data discoverability and harmonization.
