To achieve a culture of innovative science and discovery, the MI-AORTA program supports four research professorships in the University of Michigan Medical School.Â
Research Professorship in Cardiac Surgery:
Dr. Bo Yang was appointed 7/2022, as the Frankel Research Professorship in Aortic Surgery
Research Professorship in Interventional Cardiology:
Dr. Minhajuddin S. Khaja appointed 12/2022, as the David M. Williams, M.D. Research Professorship
Research Professorship in Vascular Surgery:
Dr. Nicholas H. Osborne appointed 5/2023, as the Ramon Berguer, M.D., PhD Research Professorship
