Three climate change adaptation and resilience plans were created to identify climate change impacts and adaptation opportunities to enhance resilience on three state lands: Assateague State Park, Browns Branch Wildlife Management Area, and Pocomoke State Forest. These plans represent a partnership between Maryland DNR's Chesapeake and Coastal Service, Maryland Park Service, Maryland Forest Service, and Wildlife and Heritage Service.
Additionally, a climate adaptation and resilience planning menu was created to identify climate change impacts to Maryland's fisheries and recommend adaptive management strategies. This planning menu addresses fisheries from ecological, socioeconomic, and governance perspectives and represents a partnership between Maryland DNR's Chesapeake and Coastal Service unit, Fishing and Boating Services Unit, interjurisdictional partners, and fishing communities.
