The 2026 M-BRISC Annual Scientific Symposium will be happening on Friday, February 6, 2026!
Please join us as the Frankel Cardiovascular Center's M-BRISC program will host the highly anticipated 2026 Annual Scientific Symposium at the FCVC Danto Auditorium (Room 2314) from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This dynamic event brings together leading experts, researchers, and innovators to explore groundbreaking advancements in cardiovascular science and beyond.
The day kicks off with Registration & Breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by a M-BRISC 101 session where you will learn all about the program and its offerings. This informational session will be followed by an engaging Networking & Introductions social session, perfect for connecting with peers and collaborators.
Attendees will hear from Special Guest Speaker Thomas Wang, MD, FAHA, setting the stage for insightful discussions. An awarded Poster Session will showcase cutting-edge research.
The highlight of the symposium is the Keynote Presentation at 12:00 PM by Sabra Klein, PhD, FAAM, FAAAS, titled: “Sex Differences in Immune Function: Both the Cause and Consequence of Infectious Diseases”. This thought-provoking talk promises to deliver critical insights into the intersection of immunology and disease outcomes.
Afternoon sessions include Grant Updates from Sundeep Kalantry, PhD, followed by a Panel Discussion featuring expert perspectives on emerging trends. The day concludes with Poster Awards and Closing Remarks from Santhi Ganesh, MD, and David Pinsky, MD.
