Experiment One

I've always been interested in exploring multimodal forms of writing: the idea that "writing" extends beyond traditional alphanumeric text to include media such as images, audio, and video.

This essay serves as a proof explaining that auditory stimulus (an orchestral composition) can be a form of writing.

I also composed an accompanying orchestral piece to gain firsthand experience with the nuances of such writing. The final product of which is not attached to this website, as I am, at present, unsatisfied with it.
