Travel from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)

Driving Directions

• • From Detroit Metropolitan Airport

    • Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is located about 25 miles (40 km) east of Ann Arbor on Interstate-94. When exiting the airport, take the I-94 W Chicago ramp. Continue on I-94 West to the State Street Exit, #177. Turn right (north) onto State Street, then travel about two miles to the intersection of State and Hill streets. Turn right onto Hill Street and proceed to Tappan Street. Turn left onto Tappan.

  • From North

    • Take U.S. 23 South to M-14 to the Downtown Ann Arbor/University of Michigan – Main Street Exit. Continue on Main Street south 1 ½ miles to Packard Street. Turn left on Packard, left on Hill Street and proceed to Tappan Street. Turn left.

  • From Detroit (East) & Chicago (West)

    • From I-94, take the State Street Exit, #177. Turn right (north) when traveling from Detroit, or left (north) when traveling from Chicago. Travel about two miles to the intersection of State and Hill streets, then turn right onto Hill Street. Proceed to Tappan Street and turn left.

Rail Travel

• • Ann Arbor’s Amtrak station is located at 325 Depot Street, under a mile from the University of Michigan campus. For train times and ticket information visit the Amtrak website.

Parking

• • Public Parking Structures

    • Public parking is available for $1.60/hour at the City of Ann Arbor’s parking structures (no permit is required). The below options are closest to Michigan Ross.

    • Forest Structure: 650 South Forest Avenue (South Forest Avenue at South University Avenue)

    • Liberty Square Structure: 510 East Washington Street

    • Maynard Structure: 324 Maynard Street (near Liberty)

  • Metered Parking

    • Metered parking is available on the east (East University Avenue) and west sides (Tappan Street) of Ross. Street parking may be available in the student neighborhood south of the building.
