Office or Lab Clean Out Guidelines

Please see the following notes to assist you in a CECS office clean out:

1. A trash & recycling gondola can be requested to be dropped off at the office being cleaned out via submitting a Special Project Request Form. 

   • Please include the date you'd like to have the gondolas dropped off in the notes section.

   • If your gondola becomes full, you can request it to be emptied and brought back by responding to the original Special Project Request email chain.

   • If you need additional black trash or clear recycling bags, they can be requested by responding to the original Special Project Request email chain.

   • When you have completed filling the gondola, please let us know it is ready for removal by responding to the original Special Project Request email chain.

2. Your gondola will include black bags for trash bags and clear bags for recycling. 

   • Please see the below guide or use THIS LINK to view  what items should be included in each type of bag. 

   • Please do not mix trash with recycling as this will cause our janitorial team to have to sort the contents of your bags by hand.

   • Items that need to be shredded can be brought to the shredding bins located in HPEC 2090 or IAVS 2098. There are carts for transporting documents that can be borrowed located in HPEC 2090.

***PLEASE DO NOT OVERFILL THE BAGS- OUR JANITORIAL TEAM HAS TO LIFT EACH BAG INTO THE DUMPSTER BY HAND.
