Ross China Initiatives (RCI)
I founded Ross China Initiatives (RCI) in 2015 and have served as its faculty director until 2023. Through my work here, I promote greater learning within the Michigan student and scholarly community about this important region and economy, build networks and partnerships between the UM community and Chinese organizations, and foster greater global impact with Michigan Ross partners in China.

partnered with Ross Executive Education to generate and maintain a strong and growing client base in the region, bringing in around $10 million.
worked with the development offices at Ross and UM to raise close to $ 1 million to support UM faculty and student activities.
offered BBA China Immersion Course, which was the most popular short-term program for the 2020 Summer term.
introduced the Michigan Ross China Fellowship for students to design their own independent projects.
launched the China Research Award for Michigan Ross faculty and PhD students (five faculty members and four Ph.D. students).

Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies (LRCCS) annual conferences, 2015-17, with speakers including Professor Justin Lin, former chief economist of the World Bank, and Professor Shangjin Wei, former chief economist of Asia Development Bank.
Michigan China Forum, 2018 and 2019, inviting Professor Jack Hu, former vice president for research at the University of Michigan; Professor James Holloway, former vice provost for global and engaged education at the University of Michigan; Lei Hong, former consul general of China in Chicago; Jian Zhao, current consul general of China in Chicago; Linglong He, chief information officer at Quicken Loans; and other distinguished speakers.
Tsinghua University North America Alumni Association Future Mobility Forum and the TusLink US-China Innovation Ecosystem Conference, both in 2018.
