- Reflect on your experiences in the lab to prepare to ask the difficult questions, give feedback, and share advice.
- If you are available during the time, we'd love to have you, but no pressure (don't skip class).
- Prepare for all Neuro Lab 1 Material.
- Reflect on your experiences in the lab to model what you found helpful as a student.
Faculty, Past TAs, and Future TAs:
- Tables will be set up with plastinated brains, spinal cords, and plastic neuro models
- Play the role of the student:
- Interact with as many TAs possible
- Ask questions
- Try to answer questions asked to you
- Get things wrong
- Throw them curveballs
- If the opportunity arises, give constructive feedback about your interactions and any advice you have (what you found helpful as a student or TA)
- Early group: have the lab ready to go by 9:45am as if it is a lab day
- All TAs: be there and ready to teach at 10am
- Distribute throughout the lab spaces and run the lab as if it's a lab day
- Make this and all your teaching as interactive as possible
