Cat on Kotatsu
Took about a week, made about 7 years ago.
This model does not exist on the original site anymore, so I may be one of very few people with a surviving original copy of the parts and instructions. Hoewver, it seems someone did have the foresight to archive it on the wayback machine. It was created as part of a 4-part series of dioramas to celebrate the 4 seasons in Japan, and was listed on the Yamaha Moters website of all places.
Interestingly enough, when I searched for this model, I found a bunch of listings on AliExpress claiming it to be available for purchase. Not sure what that's about, but I wouldn't trust it.
The tatami mats, as so often happens with long flat papercraft prisms, are warped and skewed, and don't want to sit flush to a flat surface. It's just something that happens to that shape unless you reinforce your paper.
Model originally created by Nobutaka Mukouyama from Yamaha Motors Japan website. Original site has since been removed.
