Our Strategy: The COMPASS Framework
Our strategy is the implementation of the COMPASS framework, a three-part harmony of modern technology. As conductors of our data orchestra, we assign a critical role to each section:
The Instruments (Microcontroller & Sensor Systems): This is our hardware section, where the music begins. We use Arduino and other microcontrollers as our lead instruments, interfacing with a vast array of sensors. This is where we "tune" our system—calibrating sensors and ensuring the physical data we collect is precise, reliable, and clear.
The Score (Python): Python is the musical score and the conductor's baton. It contains the instructions that guide the instruments, telling them when and what to play. We use Python to direct the data acquisition, log every note with perfect timing, and perform the complex analysis that reveals the underlying composition within the data.
The Performance (Web Interface & JavaScript): The final performance is how we share our symphony with the world. We use JavaScript to create vibrant, interactive web-based dashboards and visualizations. This is where our data becomes a compelling story, allowing our audience to not just see our results, but to experience and explore the insights we've uncovered.
