Program Requirements

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development (HD) is designed to support student learning about growth and change across the lifespan. With areas of focus in developmental science, educational psychology, and statistical methodology, HD majors will explore the biological, social, emotional, and cognitive processes of learning from conception to old age in diverse social and cultural contexts.

 The Human Development Minor offers a rigorous foundation in Human Development for students who wish to support their major field of study with knowledge of human growth and development. 

The HD Minor is a great addition for students majoring in psychology, business, sociology, and family sciences.
