The Human Development Undergraduate Program was established in Fall 2020. Our program strives to support students' growth and development during their time at UMD both academically and on a holistic level. By providing multidimensional support, we help prepare students to make meaningful contributions to society in the future.
We provide this support by offering a student-centered approach, which includes a built-in internship program and flexible program requirements that allow students to tailor their undergraduate learning experience to fit their individual interests and goals. In addition to our Major Program, we also offer a robust Human Development Minor Program.
