The Weight We Weave

The Weight We Weave is an interactive tapestry depicting the human sillouette, designed to capture the emotional burdens and experiences of its participants. Drawing from the therapeutic practice of body mapping, the project invites audiences to reflect, connect, and express difficult emotions through visible placement and written submissions. As audiences mark where they carry their burdens, the tapestry preserves our collective struggles, which reveal the weight our community carries . Made with intarsia crochet, a method to invisibly change colors, This work encourages self-reflection, fosters empathy, and reminds us that healing is a process we experience together.
