Curation Brainstorming (Iteration 2)
Mock Up Poster and Body Map
This Capstone emphasized that the design process is just as important as the execution process. Initially, I was hesitant to alter my ideas, assuming they were perfect. However, feedback from my peers and multiple rounds of revision were integral in presenting a clear and engaging concept. The adjustments I made to my project through this feedback strengthened the final piece without compromising my final vision.
Research into similar projects and studies on the positive impact of body mapping reinformed the potential of my project in fostering connection and healing. Throughout this process, I discovered effective strategies to improve my creative thinking and work ethic. The time management strategy called the Pomodoro technique was most notable to me. This is a time management exercise that breaks work sessions into focused intervals, which boosted my productivity and mindset.
The visualization of my project through sketches and mock exhibition sessions allowed me to frame ideas of how my audience can interact with the components. They also revealed the shortcomings of my content and or layout. Overall, this process refined my project's ideas.
