PIT Faculty Fellowships
Public Interest Technology at UMass is extending the deadline to apply for PIT Faculty Fellowships for the 2024–2025 academic year. The theme is Building Capstone Courses and Experiential Learning Opportunities for the Undergraduate PIT Certificate. Selected faculty will be provided stipends of up to $6,000 to develop capstone courses and experiential learning opportunities eligible for inclusion in the PIT undergraduate certificate. New application deadline: Apr. 26.
Cybersecurity Scholarship for Service program
Undergraduate and master’s students interested in careers in cybersecurity are invited to join Brian Levine, professor and director of the UMass Amherst Cybersecurity Institute, on Monday, Apr. 29 at 2:00 p.m. in LGRC A311 to learn about the Scholarship for Service program. This NSF-funded program, open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, provides full scholarships to students in return for government service in a cybersecurity role.
