General Entry Requirements

Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject

or

A credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July papers and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

and

Achieve a minimum Band in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) as required in special requirements of the programme.

and

Have fulfilled all special requirements of the programme as may be prescribed by the Senate.

Not suffering from any vision impairments (blind in both eyes)

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Possessed an Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with a minimum score of Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of 80 percent in one (1) of the following subject;

Obtained of at least Grade C in SPM for the following subjects:

We are working on a special pathway for UiTM/Polytechnic diploma graduates

Special pathway

Students joining with relevant diploma such as:

Diploma in Building Surveying,
Diploma in Building,
Diploma in Quantity Surveying,
Diploma in Building Services Engineering,
Diploma in Civil Engineering

May apply for vertical credit transfer with subjects offered inside the Bachelor of Building Surveying, UM. Credit transfer can be achieved when the Course Learning Outcome from the diploma granting institution matches at least 80% with UM's building surveying subject's course learning outcome and synopsis.

Student who are interested should be ready with the course synopsis and stated learning outcome from their previous institution.

Advantage of credit transfer

Students who successfully completed credit transfer for some courses will enjoy less number of courses they have to take to complete their degree studies. The freer schedule, allows more focus on the remaining courses, and potentially better assessment results.

We are working to identify exactly, courses from diploma level studies that potential students could confidently get transfer credits.
