This WP will contribute to:
· Understand the crosstalk between omic layers in the context of nutritional programming
Research questions:
· Are epigenetic marks induced by dietary fatty acid profile during early development found on the target tissue also found in mature germline or are they later introduced?
· Does lncRNA mediate this process, being responsible for the introduction of long-lasting epigenetic marks?
· How these mechanisms "crosstalk" occur?
