What is Jamboard?

Jamboard is a google extension application that allows teachers to interact with their students both in the classroom and online. There are several different ways to use Jamboard but the most popular is for collaborative projects. Teachers can present students with a question or a topic to discuss and students can use their own devices (cell phones or computers) to log into the group Jamboard and post their response. These responses can be in the form of sticky notes or drawings or pictures, etc. There is even an option for anonymous posting if the students are uncomfortable sharing their responses.
