The University library is considered a growing organism in the academe. The goals and functions of the University of Luzon Library are closely identified with the purpose of its mother institution, namely: Be more responsive to the Academic needs and research demands of the University of Luzon undergraduate, Graduate students and Faculty members; Provide a strong support to the instructional programs of the University; Effectively and Efficiently organize the library resources for maximum access of its qualified users; Provide appropriate & meaningful services and encourage lifelong education through the use of library resources.
The University of Luzon library being the heart and center of learning is Headed by the chief librarian who is licensed and a Ph.D. holder supported by 10 full-time and professionally trained staff and 13 student assistants.
A wide range of documented specialized services are delivered to the library users such as abstracting, reference and bibliographic assistance, and literature search assistance. Library holdings are well balanced and meet the curricular, instructional, research and recreational needs of its library users. Collections are well organized and using Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) that facilitates easy access to the collections by the library users. Furthermore, regular subscription to worldbook online, an e-book resource; and Infotrac Custom Journals, a database journals and a one stop source of new periodical articles covering a wide range of information are maintained.
A Library committed to the achievement of University of Luzon's Mission, goals and objectives through high Quality services, resources and facilities, and promotes book reading and state of the Art ICT for global competitiveness.
