Third floor library houses the periodical section; textbooks and FAPE corner; Reference section and Multimedia room.
Periodical Section houses professional and peer reviewed Journals, knowledge based and general magazines, newspapers and other reading materials that form part of the Periodical collection of the Library. This section provides up to date research information and recreation material to the end users. The University library subscribes to 148 periodical titles or 359 volumes (local and foreign). Moreover, the library maintained the vertical files and periodical indexes and these are incorporated in the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) for easy retrieval. In aadition, The library subscribed to online resources such as E-Books or World Book Online and CE-Logic Electronic Journals.
Here, readers have access to wide range of magazines, newspapers and topics of relevant interest. The Older periodicals undergo the process of binding for archiving and preservation to prevent them from tearing apart and then putting them on the shelves as well as opening its reading rooms for researchers.
UL library provide a corner for the textbook resource materials for student use. The textbook plays an important role in teaching and learning. It represents a useful resource for both teachers as a course design and learners as persons who are acquiring the knowledge from it. These materials can be borrowed overnight.
The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) approving the loan of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE) library collections to our University. Total collections received from FAPE were as follows: Theses and Dissertations 2,974; Books 2,741; Journals & Magazines 174; and 16 bookshelves. The proper usages of FAPE collections were closely monitored by the library staff. The services in the use of these materials were extended to the outside researchers from other colleges and Universities within Pangasinan and in nearby Provinces for their research purposes.
Meanwhile, the library provides digital access to these collections particularly the theses and dissertations.
Multimedia Section manages and provides access to collections of audio, visual and audiovisual materials various formats such as tapes, VHS, optical discs such as CDs, VCDs, DVDs and microforms. It houses the multimedia collection and computer units for viewing. Variety of multimedia collection from documentary films, motion pictures and movies are available for use in this section.
