The team UJI-Hand, composed by Universitat Jaume I students leaded by the researcher of the project Imma Llop, participated in the Cybathlon competition (demonstration only), in October 2024. The underactuated body powered prototype demonstrated high performance in some of the tasks. The prototype includes a 3D printed socket that can be customised to the patient stump geometry. The prototype was later improved and used succesfully in 11 out of 14 tasks in the 1st University Sports Competition for Prosthetic Hands (Castellón, May 2025).
