Lecture and seminar halls, crit and common study rooms and briefing and meeting rooms

Lecture and seminar halls, crit and common study rooms and briefing and meeting rooms are shared equally between the Centre of Studies. The usage of these spaces is controlled through timetable scheduling and reservation.

Design Studios

Each batch of students is entitled to a design studio, equipped with workspaces, pin up boards and IT facilities such as LCD projector and audio system The design studio is used for work-based discussion, design tutorial, crit presentation and input lecture.

Model-making workshop and printing and plotting centre

The model-making workshop and printing and plotting centre are located at Level 1. The faculty has recently acquired a 3D printer and a laser cutter to enhance model-making facilities for the students

Workshops

Timber, metal, concrete and bricks workshops are provided at Level 1. These workshops offer a wide range of equipment to enable students to experience hands-on exercises in these specific areas.

Laboratories

The Faculty is equipped with thermal comfort, lighting, sky simulation, wind tunnel and acoustic laboratory, which are located at Level 1 and computer laboratory at Level 3. Students have access to the use of these laboratories subject to reservation. For computer laboratory, various licensed softwares such as Autodesk REVIT and Autocad are subscribed for the use of students in design and thesis works.
