ARCHISA IFTAR 2021

Ramadhan 2021 should be memorable one for CoSA members. As the new semester happened concurrently with the holy month of Ramadhan, it was not quite a smooth sailing one. For Kuliah 2B students staying on campus, they are inevitably stuck inside. Without direct access to freshly made food for iftar and sahur, this immediately became a concern and inconvenience. The main worry was that as food for sahur were delivered too early, it becomes spoiled before sahur time arrived.Thankfully, CoSA's student society, Archisa (under the guidance of some quick-witted staff members) came to rescue the situation. With support from CoSA staff and alumnus and other generous individuals. Second semester for session 2020/2021 academic year welcomed 104 CoSA students back into Puncak Alam Campus. Due to the restricted number of students allowed to be on campus, only critical batches (BSc 03, BSc 04, and M.Arch 03) were brought in. The “homecoming” of the students into Kuliah 2B session which was scheduled to run from 29 March until 9 May 2021 were highly anticipated since they’ve been cooped up attending classes at home through ODL since last semester. UiTM’s commitment to maintain the green zone status resulted in quite a strict SOPs all throughout Puncak Alam campus. Only Design-based subjects were allowed to be conducted face-to-face. It was a bit of a tricky circumstances but nevertheless essential to guard the safety and wellbeing of the whole institution from Covid-19 virus. As the pandemic was and still are hitting us very hard from all angles, it has been a truly memorable Ramadan. CoSA community exercised exceptional means of communication which resulted in triumphant effort to combat the unfortunate event.
