We at the Study of Architecture (SoA) are embarking on a journey of growth and passion in aligning ourselves closely with this year; UiTM's 2024 mission to be a Globally Respected University. With a focus on planning programs and strategies, and with the increased dedication and enthusiasm of our lecturers and students, we are poised to achieve remarkable feats.

In this new semester of 2024, the initial three weeks of lectures before the celebration break at UiTM were conducted online. However, the College of Built Environment (KAB) has ensured face-to-face studio classes for the CFAP243 BSc Architecture and CFAP773 Master of Architecture programs. This approach not only fulfills the requirements of professional bodies but also ensures that studio-based learning begins from the outset of the semester, allowing us to adhere to the planned timelines for each design project.

In the following weeks, SoA has organized numerous academic programs and ARCHISA student activities in tandem with the enhancement of KAB's management and operations. Our aim is to position UiTM for global recognition and respect. In the realm of architecture, SoA, through the Built Environment Respected Talent strategy, will continue to collaborate closely with stakeholders such as alumni, industry partners, authorities, and the community, ensuring that ideas generated by SoA students resonate globally. It is through the collective efforts of all stakeholders that SoA can further strengthen UiTM's role as a Catalyst for Social Change through Education.
