The UIndy Counseling Center provides "mental health services, consultation, and outreach to support the emotional well-being of UIndy students" at no additional cost. They offer individual, group, and couples counseling. Services in the following categories are offered as well: clinical, crisis, prevention, consultation, outreach, and social injustice.

The UIndy Crisis Response Team responds to emotional distress and mental health needs in times of crisis, traumatic events, serious loss, and/or emergencies. They provide "immediate, compassionate, practical information and resources" to address basic psychological needs and stress reactions after such incidents.

UIndy's Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) operates in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act to best accommodate students and their specific needs in the academic environment. They also offer the BUILD program, Baccalaureate for University of Indianapolis Learning Disabled, which supports students with specific learning disabilities while earning their associate's or bachelor's degree.
UIndy has multiple locations and options for fitness and recreation that is free of charge for students. These locations include the UIndy Fitness Center, Ruth Lily Fitness Center, Schwitzer Student Center, and four Residence Halls - with each location offering a variety of activities.

UIndy's Food Pantry offers pre-packed, non-perishable food to students, faculty, and staff—first come, first served. Currently, a virtual food pantry exists with designated pick-up locations around the campus.

UIndy fully complies with the Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities. Title IX at UIndy serves students by providing them support and resources, while respecting their autonomy and confidentiality in the process.
Any questions concerning Title IX can be reported to UIndy's Title IX Coordinator, Dr. Jessica Ward. According to the Title IX guidelines, she is appointed as the person "responsible for receiving complaints of sexual harassment, including sexual assault, sexual violence or other sexual misconduct for the entire university community."
