Excited to share that I earned my M.S. in Statistics from the University of Illinois Chicago in December 2025!
Grateful for the support from my advisors, teachers, friends, and family throughout this journey!
I am excited to share my first publication as first author:
Huang, R., Yin, Y., Zhou, N., & Lang, F. (2026). Artificial intelligence in K-12 education: An umbrella review. Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence, 100519. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.caeai.2025.100519
Highlights
We proposed a framework to map K-12 AIEd research and synthesize the major findings from 102 systematic reviews.
The existing systematic reviews lack attention to AI education and literacy, and AIEd theories.
We identified four major challenges: technological limitations, pedagogical hurdles, ethical risks, and systemic barriers.
Many review studies need to improve data management, extraction process, analysis method, and reporting of limitations.
We developed a quality assessment rubric to evaluate systematic reviews across various fields.
