If you are unable to log in to your UI Health network account or the Empowers LMS platform (via SSO login), you may need to take additional steps to activate your account. Please follow the steps below to complete your account activation:
It’s possible that you must simply change your password via the NetID Center: https://identity.uillinois.edu/iamFrontEnd/iam/start
UI Health recommends a 16+ digit password (the website instructions say 12+, but 16+ often prevents other issues).
*This step has helped many trainees avoid delays and unnecessary calls to IS regarding password resets. If you’re unable to reset your password, you likely missed the NetID activation email from noreply@uic.edu, which contains the Activation Token and important instructions that you must follow. This email would have been sent to the email address that the GME staff has on file. If you are unsure of that email address, please check all of your email accounts, including any personal and work accounts.
Please be sure to search ALL email folders (including inbox, spam/junk, archive, and deleted/trash folders) for keywords such as:
“noreply@uic.edu”
“NetID”
“Activation Token”
