Meet our Educators

Most classes are taught by a team of educators, including a Teacher and an Early Childhood Educator. In smaller classes there may only be a Teacher.

Teachers and ECEs are a team that each bring a special set of skills to the classroom to create a nurturing learning environment.

Parents will get to know each educator and can rely on them both for communication and support with their child’s learning.

Classes are also supported by planning time teachers who may teach phys ed., music, or inquiry in the classroom.

Mme Nichole

Bonjour! My name is Madame Nichole. I am one of the French Kindergarten teachers. Madelle Grace and I are together in a classroom. I look forward to laughing and learning with you over the next two years.

Mdle. Grace

Bonjour! I am Mdle. Grace and I am an ECE. I teach with Mme. Nichole in one of the French Kindergarten rooms. I am very excited to meet everyone and to new Kindergarten adventures that awaits us.

Mme Tori

Bonjour! I am Mme Tori and I love being a part of the kindergarten team! I will be teaching in one of the French Kindergarten rooms alongside Mme Jenna. Can't wait to meet you all!

Ms. Sinclair

Welcome! My name is Ms. Sinclair. I am the Librarian at our school. I will also be covering planning time as well. I am so excited to meet you and learn together.

Mlle. Jenna

Bonjour! I'm Mlle Jenna and I'm an ECE in one of the French Immersion Kindergarten rooms with Mme. Tori. I can't wait to meet you and show you around our school.

Bonjour! Hello! I'm Mme. Estabrooks and cover planning time for both the French and English classes. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Ms. de Sousa-Eccles

Hello! I am Melissa de Sousa-Eccles and I am an ECE in one of the English Kindergarten Classrooms. I will be teaching with Mrs. Doig, & with Mrs. Sinclair. I can not wait to meet you all! It will be a fun year! :)

Mrs. Verbeek

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Verbeek. I am an English Kindergarten Teacher that works with E.C.E. Mrs.Cairns. I am looking forward to meeting each of you and your families! Together, we are going to have a fun and happy school year filled with lots of new friends and wonderful learning discoveries!

Mrs. Behling

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Behling. I am an ECE in the English Kindergarten Classroom. I will be teaching with Mrs. Verbeek. I am looking forward to learning and exploring with all of you! I am so excited!! It is going to be a wonderful year.

Mrs. Doig

Hello! I am Mrs. Doig. I am an English Kindergarten Teacher and work along side Ms. Leies. I am very excited to meet you! We are going to have so much fun exploring and learning together! I can not wait for the 2020/21 school year to begin!

Mr. Hale

Hello everyone. My name is Mr. Hale and I am the principal of Palmerston Public School. We are very much looking forward to seeing our returning and new kindergarten students. You will often find me in the kindergarten classrooms because, let’s face it, it’s the most fun place to be!

Mrs. Dyer

Hi! I'm Mrs. Dyer and I'm the Vice Principal at Palmerston Public School. You'll see me around in the school yard, in the halls, and visiting your classrooms to see what you're learning about. If you ever need help, you can always come to the office!

Mrs. Robertson

Mrs. Robertson is our Special Education Resource Teacher. If your child needs Speech and Language support, Occupational Therapy Support, or has any other Special Education needs, she is here to support families and educators.

Mr. Walls

Hello friends. My name is Mr. Walls and I have the great pleasure of teaching all of the English Kindergarten students gym. We will have a lot of fun playing sports and games together. I look forward to running, jumping, throwing, and dancing with you in September!

Mme. Aidan

Mme Aidan is our Special Education Resource for students in our French Immersion Program. She also helps with Speech and Language support, Occupational Therapy support, and any other Special Education support for your child if needed. Mme. Aidan often supports early phonics alongside our classroom French Immersion Educators.
