Creating a Daily Schedule


Things to consider:

  • Build your schedule around routines you already have in your day

  • Plan more challenging tasks earlier in the day, before they get tired!

  • Consider reasonable amounts of time that any one thing is scheduled for. What can you child reasonably do?

  • Don't forget breaks! You can offer a variety of options like "take five deep breaths of fresh air", or "do 10 jumping jacks" (Click here for more examples)

  • Make sure to build in quiet time every day (for the kids, and for you!)

  • Try to limit exposure to COVID media information
