Session 2: Main Idea

One of the challenging tasks on the Literacy Test is summarizing the main idea from a reading and supporting it with a detail from the reading.

For this type of task, the marking guideline looks like this.

Knowing how you are going to be evaluated for a particular task helps you know what's important to focus on. So, look at the Code 30 description paying careful attention to the underlined phrases.
