Thank you for joining us as part of our Youth STEM Challenge as part of the 2026 Walton County Fair.  This contest will teach youth about the science that goes behind one of the Fair's most iconic attractions - the Ferris Wheel! You will have the opportunity to learn more about the engineering design process, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

How to Use This Guide

To prep youth teams for the Youth STEM Challenge, we have compiled resources for your team to learn more about Ferris Wheels, the engineering design process, and a few design challenges to do before the fair.
