4-H Mission – The Florida 4-H Youth Development program uses as learn-by-doing approach and caring adults to help youth gain the knowledge and life skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. To achieve its mission, 4-H accesses the expertise and resources of the University of Florida as well as a nationwide network of Cooperative Extension Service faculty and staff.

4-H Vision – Florida 4-H aspires to be the leading youth development program that creates positive change in youth, families, and communities.

4-H Creed- I believe in 4-H Club work for the opportunity it will give me to become a useful citizen. I believe in the training of my HEAD for the power it will give me to think, plan and to reason. I believe in the training of my HEART for the nobleness it will give me to be kind, sympathetic and true. I believe in the training of my HANDS for the ability it will give me to be helpful, skillful, and useful. I believe in the training of my HEALTH for the strength it will give me to enjoy life, to resist disease, and to work efficiently. I believe in my country, my state, and my community and in my responsibility for their development. In all these things I believe, and am willing to dedicate my efforts to their fulfillment.

Lee County 4-H

We are the 4-H Positive Youth Development Program for Lee County, housed through the University of Florida IFAS Extension and the Lee County Parks and Recreation Division of the Lee County Government. With the support of our local government and state land grant university, along with volunteers, we are able to reach youth ages 5-18 across all of Lee County. Through our outreach programs and 4-H Clubs combine, we are able to help teach youth life skills and help prepare them for the workforce in program areas such as S.T.E.A.M., Citizenship and Leadership, and Healthy Living.
