Supplies needed:
Four baskets or buckets with labels of fruit, vegetable, dairy, and protein for each group
plastic play food (Don't have any? Save empty containers! or use printed pictures)
Spread out food and set up labeled basket or buckets. Divide youth into teams with a team leader.
Have each team match their food products to the correct categories. Play it as a race for the finish!
Have youth draw the MyPlate diagram on their paper plate and draw some of their favorite foods in each category.

Pencils or Pens
Talk about the recipes on the poster and have the youth pick their favorite. Help them write down their favorite recipe to take home and cook with their families.
