Admission to PPGPA
The admission of students to the PPGPA takes place through a call for proposals (approved by the Course's CCD) launched twice a year. For admission in March, the call for proposals is launched from October to November of the previous year. For admission in August, the call for proposals is launched from March to May of the current year. The call for proposals provides for specific vacancies for quota holders (civil servants, black, brown, indigenous, trans) and for broad competition.
To enroll in the course, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree (in the case of doctoral applications) in agronomy or related areas, aiming to meet the objectives and profile desired by the PPGPA.
Candidates are evaluated by a Selection Committee composed of 3 permanent professors, approved in a CCD meeting. After the selection process, the list is sent by the Selection Committee to the CCD for appreciation and approval.
