• STEM strand stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The primary goal of STEM education is to develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hand-on activities and real-world applications.  The STEM  field is critical to growth of economies worldwide, driving technological innnovation, economic development, and scientific advancement.  STEM education is for the students who would like to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, or math, and it promotes the development of essential skills needed in the modern work force.

• STEM fields in higher education develop critical thinking skills, career readiness, and the ability to collaborate across scientific disciplines to tackle complex challenges. STEM combines several academic fields and teaches students how to apply their knowledge from other fields to solve issues.
