🎵 How to Rent an Instrument Online

1. Go to musicarts.com
2. Click on “Rentals”

3. Follow the steps below:

• Select your child’s grade (as of this coming September)

• Choose Upper Dublin School District and then your child’s specific school

• Select the instrument your child will be learning

• Important: Choose “Fall Delivery”
  This ensures the instrument is delivered directly to your child’s school in time for their first lesson in September

🎺 Missed Spring Registration?

No problem! If you're registering in July or August, please go directly to the store to pick up your instrument when it’s ready.

🗓️ Choose Your Rental Term:

• 4–5 months (Trial Period)

• 10 months (Full School Year – through June)

🎒 Add-On Checklist (Don't Miss These!):

✅ 4th Graders: Alfred Sound Innovations for Band, Book 1 👈FOURTH GRADERS

✅ 5th Graders: Alfred Sound Innovations for Band, Book 2
✅ Music Stand (optional but helpful at home)
✅ Extra Reeds (recommended for Clarinet and Alto Sax players)
🎷 Alto Saxophone – be sure to choose "ALTO", not tenor or baritone

Beyond this, no other accessories are required.

• Enter Student’s Name and Accept the Rental Terms.

• Create Account or Login if you have an account

• Secure Checkout

🎉 That’s it! Your child’s instrument and supplies will arrive at school, ready for their first lesson!

Instrument Return Instructions

You may return the rental instrument at any time. 

IF RETURNING AFTER JUNE 1st IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU TAKE IT DIRECTLY TO THE STORE.

Otherwise...

If you would like to have your instrument picked up at your child's school,

1. Please complete this FORM

2. Please do not return your instrument to your child's school without a return authorization. 

3. Please clearly label the outside of the instrument case with your child's name.

4. After you've made arrangements with Music and Arts regarding the return, your child can give the instrument to their band director or the main office.
