In the activity, I engaged with an online TED talk titled "Poverty isn't a lack of character; it's a lack of cash." While watching, I was very surprised by the number of people who continue to live in extreme poverty. The speaker highlighted alarming statistics about access to basic resources such as water, education, and medical care. The most striking thing was seeing how these numbers represent real lives that struggle daily. Before watching, I felt curious but also unsure if the talk would be engaging. While watching, I was shocked by the data and moved by the stories the speaker shared. Afterward, I felt inspired to reflect on how we, as a society, can contribute to change. I learned that solving poverty requires not only effective policies but also the commitment of society and opportunities for people to create wealth. The way the speaker explained this issue and provided solutions was clear and inspiring. This made me wonder: How can individuals contribute to reducing poverty? What role should governments and communities play to make real progress?

In the activity, we formed teams of four to create an awareness campaign on “gender equality,” aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. We started by researching the topic and then developed a brochure explaining gender equality and the goals of our campaign. We also produced a video to discuss gender equality and launch a challenge. Before starting, I felt curious but unsure if we could represent the topic effectively. While working on the project, I felt motivated as we collaborated and shared ideas equally. Afterward, I felt proud of our work and hopeful it could inspire change.I learned how gender issues affect everyday life, with small actions perpetuating oppression or reinforcing roles. Teamwork was key, as it showed the importance of dividing tasks and working together toward a goal. This made me wonder: How can society better address gender inequality in everyday situations?
