We congratulate Prof. Karina Sánchez on this valuable participation and celebrate the teaching best practices that strengthen the internationalization and social impact of COIL projects.
Thanks to the collaboration established with her partner in a COIL project, Prof. Karina Sánchez from the Business School was invited by Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Brazil, to participate as a speaker in the Academic Week of Economics, where she taught the course “Community Intervention.”
During her participation, Prof. Sánchez shared a space organized for and by students, focused on bringing young people closer to diverse social realities. Through critical reflection and collaborative work, she promoted a sustainable, intercultural, and human-centered approach that recognizes local knowledge and fosters inclusive development alternatives.
From the Office of Internationalization, we congratulate Prof. Margarita Rodríguez Ortega from the School of Business for sharing her valuable experience in COIL projects during her recent participation at Universidad EAN in Colombia. We are proud to see her promote internationalization at home and collaborative learning, strengthening ties between institutions committed to transformative education.
