I volunteer at the Urban Bike Project most weeks, helping people buy bikes and repair bikes. I can't say enough about how much I love this organization and its mission to provide access to bicycling as a healthy, affordable and practical means of transportation and recreation. As a volunteer, I'm definitely worth every penny I get paid. ;) And I had fun competing in the 2025 Commuter Challenge time trial fundraiser - this year's promotional video even features yours truly stoking the Ship of Fools tandem captained by the estimable Paul Moser (thank you Paul!).
Our City Administrator is one of our awesome Biden School alumnae, so when she asked me to serve on a financial advisory committee, how could I say no?
