Getting Involved: Civic Engagement in America has been designed to inspire students and teachers at all stages of learning to act upon their values in a positive way through informed action, while encouraging others to do so.
You are welcome to use the examples of activities, assessments and ideas that have been generated by this project. However, we hope that you will use these concepts and materials not just to meet program requirements, but to encourage your teacher candidates and their students to get involved through social studies.
