Dr. Fintsch has worked in the areas of asset management, pavement engineering, and sustainability since the mid-1980s. Dr. Hardy is a former Program Director for Planning and Performance Management for AASHTO. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from George Mason University. He has served as the AASHTO Staff Liaison for the Committee on Performance-Based Management, which includes the Subcommittee on Asset Management, spearheading the development of the TAM portal (https://www.tam-portal.com/) and interacting with states and other government agency on policy development and guidance.
Professor Zhanmin Zhang was a founding instructor for the Advanced Infrastructure Management Bootcamp. He passed away on December 30, 2022. He was the Clyde E. Lee Endowed Professor, and Director, Resilient Infrastructure and Smart Cities (RISC) Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. z.zhang@mail.utexas.edu
Professor Zhang’s research interests included analysis and simulation of large-scale infrastructure systems, risk and resilience of infrastructure systems, optimal resource allocation, innovative financing mechanisms, and intelligent infrastructure for smart cities.
