In this assignment, I was required to handle a technical topic/skill and record myself doing the skill in order to instruct an audience on how to easily do it themselves. I decided to do "adding signatures to Microsoft Word Documents" because I know it's a skill college students and other professionals would benefit from as it makes cover letters look professional. I had to create subtitles for it too.
Final Thoughts:
This assignment was a massive challenge as I've never created a screencast before, and needed to get new programs such as VLC player and ActivePresenter to create it. I learned technical skills such as using a professional microphone to create and edit audio, how to record my screen and instruct people on how to do a technical skill, how to create subtitles for my video, and how to put it all together for a professional looking video. I believe it looks clean, accurate, and is user-friendly for audiences to easily complete the task at hand.
