The Nanoscale Engineered Materials Laboratory (NEMLab) has the central goal of understanding the behavior and assembly of functionalized nanoscale materials--with an emphasis on magnetic nanoparticles and biomolecules--and translating this knowledge onto practical macroscale engineering applications including adsorption and separation processess.
