We know you have lots of questions, so for the first week, Dan and Kathleen will be live in Slack to answer them. After that, Kathleen will be live for weekly AMAs to answer your ongoing questions.
When are AMAs?
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10:
STARTING SEPTEMBER 17:
What is an AMA?
AMAs are live, hour-long sessions that take place in the #ama-sessions channel in Slack. During the hour that they are happening, you can ask questions, and a member of the Udacity Scholarships team will respond.
What types of questions can I ask?
You can ask any non-technical questions about the scholarship, including expectations, resources, timeline, etc.
What types of questions should I NOT ask?
We will not be able to answer any questions about the course material. Please post these questions to #live-help or the forums to get answers from mentors.
To keep Slack organized, please do not ask questions that we have answered before. Review the FAQs on this website or the AMA transcript to see if someone has already asked your question. If you ask a question that has already been answered, we will kindly direct you to these resources so you can find the answer on your own!
How do AMAs work?
Head over to the #ama-sessions channel in Slack. At the beginning of the AMA, Kathleen will post a "green light" letting everyone know that you can start asking questions. Post your question to the main channel, and a member of the team will respond in thread to your question. Please be patient- we might not respond right away if things are really busy, but we will do our best to get to all questions!
When we post...
When we post...
...this means we are accepting questions! Feel free to post yours, and we will respond as soon as we can.
...this means we are busy answering questions and will not be able to respond to any new question that are posted until we repost the green light.
