Year 11

This term you will study English Language Component 1, Section A and B. This will involve remembering how to analyse fiction and write narratives.

You will also be revising Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. This will involve learning how to answer English Literature, Paper 1, Section B.

During this term you will continue to study Language Component 2, Sections A and B. This will involve learning and practising how to approach the structure of Section A, whilst learning how to write non-fiction texts.

In terms 3-4, you will also revise the 'Power and Conflict' section of the Poetry Anthology. This will involve learning how to answer English Literature, Paper 2, Section B.
